AMPS Implementation Date Likely Delayed

The CSCB has confirmed with the CCRA that the AMPS
implementation date will almost certainly be delayed. The
CCRA has indicated that the regulations for AMPS will not be
available until April rather than in March as originally
planned. They will advise the implementation date once a
final decision has been made; however, the grace period is
likely to be extended until the end of May 2002.
